letters of closure to and from pets

Mousse how I miss you after those 16 years we spent together in city
and country ! Now I realize what a wonderful dog and companion you were,
especially since I have been searching for a another dog in vain, visiting the
ASPCA a number of times but finding no one like you: sweet, obedient,quiet
and patient after being left alone after sometimes 5 hours! Then, opening
my front door there you were to greet me with such enthusiasm and welcome.

We enjoyed 16 years together (for a dog's life is too short!) and I may
bring myself to look for another friend at home, difficult as this search may
be.
